-My Instrument



This my instrument, a Fox 240 short bore bassoon which is almost 3 years old. I call her cinnamon.

It has a standard german key layout with 2 rollers for the right thumb and on the pinky keys. It has a wooden crutch (nonstandard) and has been slightly modified by repairmen. I have Fox *CVX* #2 and #3 bocals, but I play on an Unplated Heckel C-2XL.

I Make my own reeds and have done some repair and maintinance work on the instrument. It is in good playing condition.
