My most recent bio:
Jonathan Zepp is finishing his undergraduate music performance degree at the University of Maryland at College Park, studying under Sue Heineman. He won the Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra concerto competition in 2005, and over the last few summers attended the Domaine Forget and Banff music festivals as well as touring with the Long Island Youth Orchestra around the Black sea. He is part of a woodwind quintet which presents for PG county elementary schools to teach students about music and is the bassoon teacher at DeMatha High School. Jonathan is also a bassoon and contrabassoon performer with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra and other local ensembles. He will be pursuing a Masters degree in music at the University of Texas at Austin in the fall and traveling to Maine to attend the Bowdoin Music Festival over the summer.

Elementary School:
Started playing flute in 4th grade
Middle School:
Started playing piccolo in 7th grade
Started Playing bassoon at the end of 7th grade
Numerous performances at County and State Solo and ensemble festival
High School:
Part of the flute section in the PBHS marching band
Played principle bassoon in PVYO and 4th bassoon in MCYO in 11th grade
Attended UNCG music camp over the summer
Played piccolo as flute section leader in marching band
Played principle bassoon in PVYO and 3rd bassoon in MCYO in 12th grade
Attended the NSO Youth Orchestra Day playing a concert with members of the NSO
Auditions for conservatories and music schools, accepted into FSU Music program, Peabody Conservatory, and UM:CP SoM
